Lap Chi Chu
Lap Chi Chu is a lighting designer based in New York and Los Angeles. Recent works include Suzan-Lori Park’s new play, “Father Comes Home From the Wars” and Sarah DeLappe’s “The Wolves”.
His awards have included the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Angstrom Award for Career Achievement in Lighting Design, an Ovation award, multiple Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards, a “Drammy” for best lighting. He is on the lighting design faculty at California Institute of the Arts.
Upcoming works include the world premier of Rajiv Joseph’s new play ARCHDUKE at the Mark Taper Forum and DESCRIBE THE NIGHT at the Alley Theater.
